Although UHMWPE plates offer outstanding performance, improper handling during installation, use, and maintenance can lead to performance degradation, reduced lifespan, or even safety hazards. Considering their physical properties and application scenarios, key considerations include installation standards, ambient temperature, usage restrictions, safety precautions, and maintenance management.

When using ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene plates, observe the following precautions.

1

When temperatures are low, monitor the dwell time of materials within the silo to prevent the formation of frozen lumps.

2

During operation, maintain a consistent stockpile of incoming materials and ensure the silo remains at least half full at all times.

3

Do not use external force to damage the structure or arbitrarily loosen fasteners.

4

Different material particles have varying hardness levels. Do not arbitrarily change materials or flow rates. If adjustments are necessary, do not exceed 12% of the original design capacity. Arbitrary changes to materials or flow rates will affect the service life of the lining plates.

5

Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene plate manufacturers remind you: Direct impact on the lining plates is strictly prohibited.

6

The operating environment temperature should generally not exceed 80°C.

7

Material should not remain stationary in the silo for more than 36 hours. Avoid storing highly viscous materials in the silo to prevent clumping. Materials with moisture content below 4% may have their stationary time appropriately extended.
