- Excellent Wear Resistance: The wear resistance of UHMWPE sheet is 10-20 times that of ordinary steel and 6 times that of nylon.
- High Impact Resistance: Maintains high impact strength even in low-temperature environments without brittle fracture, ranking among the most impact-resistant plastics available.
- Exceptional Self-Lubrication: Features an extremely low surface friction coefficient (0.05-0.11), second only to polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Operates reliably under lubrication-free or poor lubrication conditions, minimizing equipment wear.
- Lightweight properties: With a density of only 0.93-0.96 g/cm³, it is significantly lighter than steel (7.85 g/cm³) and brass (8.9 g/cm³), substantially reducing overall equipment weight.
- Chemical Resistance: Stable against most chemical media including acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents. Does not dissolve or swell below 80°C, exhibiting sensitivity only to strong oxidizing acids.

- Low-Temperature Resistance: Capable of long-term use across a wide temperature range from -269°C to 80°C, with low-temperature performance far exceeding other plastics.
- Non-Stick Properties: Low surface tension prevents adhesion to other materials, making it suitable as a lining for conveying and molding equipment.
- Electrical Insulation: Excellent electrical insulation properties allow use in electrical insulation components.
