Safety Precautions For UHMWPE Sheet Use in Coal Yards
Application of UHMWPE Sheets in Coal Yards
UHMWPE sheet is widely used in coal mining industry, which can be made into coal mining machinery axial tile, axle sleeve, flat plate, filter press filter plate, slurry machine friction plate and sieve plate.
- After changing to UHMWPE sheet, the chute material for coal mining can not only save a lot of steel and reduce the labour intensity, but also reduce the slope of the original chute and increase the output of coal.
- After the coal bunker is lined with UHMWPE, the storage capacity of the bunker can be increased and blockage can be prevented.
- UHMWPE sheet is used as the sieve plate of vibrating sieve machine in coal washing plant, which can reduce the noise and improve the labour environment.
- In addition, UHMWPE sheet can also be used as material for manufacturing coal conveying pipeline, scraper of filter and so on.

Precautions
Before using this sheet in a coal yard, please take note of the following precautions:
1. For first-time use, wait until the bin is filled to two-thirds of its total capacity before unloading.
2. During operation, always ensure that materials are dropped at the designated drop point of the material pile. Maintain the storage level at more than half of the bin's total capacity at all times.
3. Do not allow materials to impact the liner directly.
4. Different materials have varying particle hardness; materials and flow rates must not be changed arbitrarily. If changes are necessary, the new flow rate must not exceed 12% of the original design capacity. Arbitrary changes can reduce the liner's service life.
5. The ambient operating temperature should generally not exceed 100 °C.
6. Do not apply external force to damage the structure or loosen fasteners at will.
7. Materials should not remain static in the warehouse for more than 36 hours. For stickier materials, avoid extended storage to prevent caking. If the material has a moisture content below 4%, the static time may be appropriately extended.
8. In low temperatures, monitor the duration of material storage in the bin to prevent freezing and blockage.
