Products Description
HDPE lining sheet is a sheet-like product manufactured from high-density polyethylene resin through processes such as extrusion and molding. Its core function is to serve as a protective layer covering the surfaces of equipment, containers, or structures to achieve corrosion resistance, friction reduction, impact resistance, and anti-adhesion properties.
Primary Applications
- Bulk Bin Lining: Used on the inner walls of storage containers for materials prone to adhesion, such as grain, feed, fertilizer, cement, and pulverized coal.
- Conveyor Belt Lining: Installed beneath conveyor belts or within scraper conveyor chutes to reduce material wear on equipment while lowering conveying resistance and saving motor energy consumption.
- Pipe Lining: Used as an inner lining for water supply pipes and gas pipelines, resisting chlorine corrosion from tap water or corrosion from trace impurities in gas.

Product Features
1. Polyethylene exhibits excellent chemical stability, resisting corrosion from various chemicals at room temperature, including hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, formic acid, amines, sodium hydroxide, and potassium hydroxide. However, nitric acid and sulfuric acid have a strong corrosive effect on polyethylene.
2. Polyethylene is susceptible to photo-oxidation, thermal oxidation, and ozone decomposition, and degrades readily under ultraviolet light exposure. Carbon black provides excellent light shielding for polyethylene. Radiation exposure can induce cross-linking, chain scission, and the formation of unsaturated groups.
3. Density ranges from 0.86 to 0.96 g/cm³. Classification by density includes low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and ultra-low-density polyethylene (ULDPE).
4. This product is odorless and non-toxic. It is insoluble in solvents at room temperature. It exhibits low-temperature resistance with a service temperature range of -70°C to -100°C.
5. HDPE lining plates exhibit excellent electrical insulation and low water absorption.
6. HDPE sheets are widely used in gas transmission, water supply, sewage disposal, agricultural irrigation, fine-particle solid conveyance in mining, as well as in oil fields, chemical plants, and postal/telecommunications sectors. They are particularly prevalent in gas transmission applications.
